Data Protection Officer D.LIVE: Stephan Wien

The purpose of data processing is to monitor the building and the surrounding areas in order to maintain house rules and for prevention and prosecution in the event of burglary, damage to property or other offenses. The duration of data storage is a maximum of 72 hours, if it does not serve to achieve the aforementioned goals. The duration is determined in the legitimate interest of property and employee protection.

Right of access of the data subject

Right to rectification
The data subject shall have the right to obtain from the controller the rectification without undue delay of inaccurate personal data concerning him or her and, where applicable, the completion of incomplete personal data (Art. 16 GDPR).

Right to erasure
The data subject has the right to request from the controller that personal data concerning him or her be erased without undue delay, provided that one of the reasons listed in detail in Article 17 of the GDPR applies, e.g. if the data are no longer needed for the purposes pursued (right to erasure).

The data subject has the right to request the controller to restrict processing if one of the conditions listed in Art. 18 DSGVO applies, e.g. if the data subject has objected to the processing, for the duration of the controller's review.

Right to object
The data subject has the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to his or her particular situation, to the processing of personal data concerning him or her. The controller shall then no longer process the personal data unless it can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override the interests, rights and freedoms of the data subject, or for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims (Article 21 GDPR).

Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority
Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, every data subject has the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if the data subject considers that the processing of personal data concerning him or her infringes the GDPR (Art. 77 GDPR).

The data subject may assert this right before a supervisory authority in the Member State of his or her residence, place of work or the place of the alleged infringement. In North Rhine-Westphalia, the competent supervisory authority is: State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information in North Rhine-Westphalia.
