CASTELLO Düsseldorf has plenty of experience in handball and basketball being home to HSG Düsseldorf, HC Rhein Vikings, Düsseldorf Magics and Düsseldorf Giants. First-division table tennis team Borussia Düsseldorf and first-division hockey team Düsseldorfer HC also used the venue for their competitions. In addition, boxing contests are regularly held by organisers Universum Box-Promotion and Spotlight Boxing, including TV broadcasts. The darts sport was also welcomed to CASTELLO Düsseldorf when the 2017 German Darts Masters were held there. Since September 2019, the home games of the Fortuna Düsseldorf Futsal team in the south of Düsseldorf have also regularly attracted fans of Futsal Bundesliga games.
