Düsseldorf wird zur
Musikhauptstadt

Zusammen mit dem Team von MTV Germany, dem Kulturdezernat der Stadt Düsseldorf und mit einer unglaublichen Resonanz sowie viel Herzblut seitens der Kulturschaffenden in Düsseldorf hat D.LIVE in kürzester Zeit ein großartiges Festivalprogramm für die MTV Music Week auf die Beine gestellt. Vom 4. bis 13. November 2022 hat die Landeshauptstadt ihre vielseitige kulturelle Bandbreite präsentiert: Konzerte, Ausstellungen, Partys, Festivals, DJ-Gigs und ein Tanz-Battle – sämtliche Formate und Genres waren in der Stadt vertreten und das in 17 Veranstaltungsstätten im ganzen Stadtgebiet. Der krönende Abschluss der MTV Music Week waren dann natürlich die MTV EMAs, die am 13. November live aus dem PSD BANK DOME übertragen wurden.

Gemeinsam schaffen wir mehr

Der Schulterschluss zwischen der freien Kulturszene, den städtischen Kulturinstituten sowie der Clubkulturszene ist mehr als gelungen! Wir konnten damit zeigen, wie vielfältig und divers Düsseldorf ist und sind alle ein Stück näher zusammengerückt!


Besondere Event-Formate

Während sich das städtische Theatermuseum in der MTV Music Week zum "Pink Palace" verwandelte, bot das NRW-Forum in Kooperation mit dem IMAI einen ermäßigten Eintritt zur Ausstellung "WONDERWALLS" an. Hervorzuheben sind zudem das Dance-Battle, welches durch das FORUM URBANE TANZKUNST mit dem tanzhaus nrw veranstaltet wurde sowie die free:pop-Reihe im Rahmen des New Fall Festivals. Außerdem wurde die Stadtführung „The Sound of Düsseldorf“ abgewandelt in "MTV Music Week meets The Sound of Düsseldorf".
