D.COLLEGE: First experts from music, sport and venue management have been confirmed as speakers

With D.COLLEGE, D.LIVE and Fresenius University of Applied Sciences have launched the first Bachelor's degree programme in the field of live entertainment and event management. The programme offers students a wide range of course content, including modules such as project management, interface management, event marketing and visitor communication. It also stands out from other existing degree programmes with modules such as booking and operational event management and a focus on live music or sports events. The degree programme focuses on current industry trends and event management processes. 

The first speakers for D.COLLEGE have already been confirmed: experts from the fields of music, sport and venue management will share their expertise and provide valuable insights into the event industry.

  

Top-class speakers from the industry

Speakers from the live entertainment industry such as Marc Engelke, founder of the DEICHBRAND Festival and Managing Director of FKP Eventservice, Ben Mitha, Managing Director of Karsten Jahnke Konzertdirektion, Stefan Löcher, Managing Director of LANXESS arena, Patrik Meyer, Managing Director Deutsche Bank Park / Eintracht Frankfurt Stadion GmbH, Andreas Kroll, Managing Director of in.Stuttgart Veranstaltungsgesellschaft and Jasper Ramm, Managing Director of OMR, are taking part in D.COLLEGE.

The following speakers will also give the students exciting and valuable insights into their specialist areas:  Jana Posth, Festival Director of ROCK AM RING, Matthias Graf, Managing Director of FKP Eventservice and Philipp Franke and Matthias Kölmel, Managing Directors of ZSL Betreibergesellschaft and therefore responsible for the QUARTERBACK Immobilien ARENA.

Alexander Jobst, Chairman/Managing Director of Fortuna Düsseldorf, Tim Heuer, Deputy General Manager of Barclays Arena and Celine Kühnel, Managing Director of eps, will also share their expertise and perspectives with the students.

Andreas Möller, Head Promoter Konzertbüro Schoneberg, Hendrik Czaster, Managing Director Contra Promotion, Georg Wacht, Director Operations Sports & Event Catering Aramark and Marc Seemann, Director Strategy & Business Development PRK DreamHaus will also provide the students with valuable practical experience.

The “Bachelor of Live Entertainment and Event Management (B.A.)” places a clear focus on practical learning and industry-specific content and offers the ideal basis for success in the dynamic world of live entertainment. The degree programme combines a flexible online learning model with intensive practical weeks in Düsseldorf and is therefore optimally tailored to the needs of the industry. In seven semesters, students get an insight into the processes of event management. Current industry trends and real-life challenges are at the centre of the courses, which ensure optimal preparation for the event industry through practical projects and collaboration with experts.
